If you would like to see the festival return again next year, and to support our ongoing outreach activities, there’s a simple way you can help. Pencil in the date in your diaries, the recordings from our 2021 festival will be going live on YouTube by 9pm Sunday 9th May!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that The Royal Society of Literature will be supporting the festival with a ‘Literature Matters’ Award! Huge thanks to the society for their confidence in our work. These vital funds will help us amplify minority voices at the festival and to broaden our inclusivity, equality and diversity work.
The Stay-at-Home! Literary Festival is committed to accessibility, inclusivity and outreach, and this year we’re partnering up with many wonderful libraries to ensure that the festival is experienced and enjoyed by as wide a community of people as possible. Our partner libraries across England and Scotland will be taking part in the festival in a number of ways including: screenings festival events, running workshops with the festival, sharing festival events on social media and lots, lots more.
Some of the libraries we’re partnering with include: Middlesbrough Central Library, The Word Library in South Tyneside, Bradford Libraries, the University of Glasgow Library, Clevedon Library, Nailsea Library, Portishead Library, Weston-super-Mare Library, Winscombe Library, Bath Central Library, Keynsham Library, and Launceston Library. Be sure to check out these excellent libraries if you live nearby, and thanks to all of our library partners for joining in the Stay-at-Home Festival 2021!
