About the Festival

The Stay-at-Home! Festival is a celebration of books and writing, preventing loneliness and championing connectivity and community amidst social distancing. With an emphasis on both inclusivity and accessibility, this is a festival for those who might not feel able or comfortable to attend a physical literary event. This year our programme theme is: The Power (and Danger) of Storytelling. It focuses on representation and diversity, drawing from The Danger of a Single Story by novelist Chimamanda Adichie. Great news! Recorded sessions from the festival are now available to watch for free on our YouTube Channel.

Want to help the festival return next year? Brilliant! We’d really appreciate it if you could fill in this short survey to help us discover what impact the festival had on you as readers and writers, as well as what you think went well and what we could improve on.

We’re always open to new ideas, and welcome alternative approaches and platforms. Head to the News page to hear about our latest innovations, news, and developments.
